  1. Wash one cup of kodo millet for 3 times and pressure cook for 1 whistle with 2 cup of water and salt.
  2. Allow it to naturally release the pressure and fluff it with fork.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and once it is hot add garlic and saute for few seconds.Then add the veggies(carrot,beans,spring onions)
  4. Add salt and sugar and saute for 3 mins. Sugar is optional,i have added to avoid the pungent smell of vinegar
  5. Add the soy sauce and vinegar. Give a mix and add the cooked millet and pepper powder.Mix well
  6. Check for salt and seasoning if needed add it and mix well. Serve hot!

But what else to call it. Fried Millet would denote something totally different. This was Foxtail Millet (navane in Kannada) cooked in the style of Shezwan Fried Rice.
