- Wash Amla in a strainer. In a pan/utensil, bring 2 cups of water to boil.
- When water begins to boil, then only put the Amlas in the boiling water & switch off the flame and cover for 5-6 mins. Now Put Amlas in a strainer and when they become cold, slice them using knife and remove the seeds. Grind coarsely.
- Heat a pan, add Amlas along with Sugar. Mix it well while stirring it continuously and cook them until sugar dissolves completely.
- Cook further till the mixture becomes thick, add 2 tsp of ghee and cook it for 2-3 mins more. Turn off the flame and let it cool down slightly.
- Tansfer it to a bowl and add almond/cashew powder, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder. Combine & mix everything well.
- Once mixture cools down, start making ladoos by greasing the hand with little ghee. Amla ladoos are now ready! Store them in an airtight container.
