  2. Prepare 3 cup bajra (millet) flour
  3. Get 500 gm fenugreek leaves (methi leaves)

  5. Get 2 tsp sugar
  6. Make ready to taste Salt
  7. Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp crushed cumin seed (zeera)
  9. Take 1 tbsp crushed red chilli flakes
  10. Make ready 1 tbsp chat masala
  11. Get 2 tbsp green chilli (finely chopped)
  12. Make ready 3 tbsp sesame seed
  13. Prepare 1/4 cup yogurt
  14. Prepare 2 tbsp melted butter
  15. Take Water as required
  16. Get oil for deep frying

Steps to make Methi thepla or dhebra:
  1. Firstly cleaned & wash (3-4 times) fenugreek leaves n finely chopped it, set aside
  2. Grate lauki, set aside
  3. Mix all dry ingredients then add melted butter n mix it
  4. Add fenugreek leaves, lauki & yogurt n mix it
  5. Make a soft dough with water(add slowly little by little At a time)
  6. Rest for 30 minutes
  7. Take a small ball sized dough
  8. Grease ur both hand palms n flattened it with ur palms
  9. Deep fry it on medium high flame
  10. Serve with raita, chatni & chaas (Lassi)

Dhebra is patted with hand and thepla is rolled. Thepla is famous Gujarati Snack bread. There are many variant of theplas like dudhi thepla, methi thepa. Excess flour from the thepla and place on hot tawa. Flip thepala to other side, when you see bubbles on the surface.
