- Make the green mint chutney paste with the ingredients mentioned and keep aside.
- After the millet and Dal are soaked grind them along with the poha to a smooth batter with little water and pour in a big vessel.Put salt and mix well.
- Keep it for fermentation.After the batter ferments add the mint chutney paste in the batter and stir well check salt add if required.
- Now grease the Idli plates with little oil.Pour the batter into the plates In the meantime heat the Idli cooker and pour water in it.Keep it ready for streaming the idlis.
- Now take the Idli plates carefully and put inside the cooker/idli steamer potand steam it for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Check if done and remove it carefully.
- When cool remove the idlis from the plates.
- Serve hot with chutney of your choice, thokku,molgapodi or sambhar and hot kaapi.
