- Simmer for 3-4 minutes on low to medium flame. When done, serve with plain steamed rice and some papad or fried potatoes as an accompaniment.
You can also stir fry the badi till they are cooked as well. Only a Bengali can tell you what satisfaction this simple square meal of rice and Musur or Red Lentils and fried potato can bring after a long grueling day.
