The ingredients needed to make Cilantro meatballs:
- Prepare 1 kg lean beef mince
- Prepare 1 1/2 tbls garlic paste
- Prepare 1 large grated onion
- Make ready 1 tsp habanero chilli paste
- Prepare 1 tbls lime juice
- Make ready Zest of 1 lime
- Prepare 1 tbls dijon mustard
- Take 1 medium egg
- Make ready 2 tbls grated Parmesan
- Get 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Get 2 tbls vegetable oil
Serve with rice, quinoa, cauliflower rice or over noodles! Mix in the cilantro, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and egg. For the chili oil: Directions To prepare the dipping sauce, combine the coconut milk, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice (reserve the zest for the meat mixture) and the salt in a blender. Blend until smooth and set aside.
Instructions to make Cilantro meatballs:
- In a large bowl mix in all the ingredients except the egg, onion and oil. Allow to rest for atleast 30 minutes for the flavours to blend together
- Now, mix in the grated onion and egg to the mince mixture and form meatballs
- In an oven proof dish arrange the meatballs ready to grill
- Lightly brush the meatballs with the vegetable oil and grill in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (Celsius) for 15 minutes, then flip and grill for another 15 minutes.
- Once meatballs are grilled and cooked through, remove from heat and allow to rest before serving. Serve warm with the sour cream mint sauce (see recipe in my recipe list)
In a large bowl, combine the lime zest, egg white, fish sauce, curry paste and pepper. Meatballs, meatballs, meatballs… I LOVE MEATBALLS! Ok… I think you get the point. Meatballs are hands down one of my favorite things to eat and remix because it's incredibly versatile. You can make them spicy, tangy, herbaceous, or even sweet.
