- In a large pan heat ghee and roast the besan and rava on low flame.
- Stir continuously till the besan combines well on a low flame.
- After 20-25 minutes when the mixture turns golden brown keep it aside.
- In another pan take sugar and water to make syrup.
- Transfer the sugar syrup over besan mixture and stir till it thickens.
- Now add cardamom powder and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture on a baking paper and set it on a plate and then later cut it into square pieces to look like burfi.
- Garnish with few chopped cashew.
- Let it set for 30 minutes and cut into square pieces.
