Instructions to make Besan cake / Savoury cake:
- Grate potato and carrot and keep aside.. Finely chop the onions..
- In a big bowl add besan, fine sooji (if u don't have u can also gring the regular sooji and use) add all other masalas like salt red chilli powder, garam masala & turmeric and mix.. Add curd and water and mix well..
- Now add the vegetables and mix well.. At last add baking soda and oil and mix..
- Grease the cake tin and pour the batter.. Top it with grated cheese (optional) Decorat it with tomato slice and coriander leaves (u can also add it inside)
- Bake it in a pre heated oven at 180 degree for 15-20 mins or until the knife comes out clean.. Serve it with coconut chutney or green chutney or tomato ketchup.. It tastes best with everything.. You can also eat it as is..
