Kadhi Pakora consists of a diluted gravy based on sour yoghurt thickened with besan (gram flour) which is then simmered with pakoras (fritters). It is the perfect comfort food. Punjabi Kadhi Pakora dish is quite richly flavored with an assortment of spices ranging from cloves and cinnamon to fenugreek and coriander seeds. Kadhi Pakora or Besan Ki Kadhi is one of the famous North Indian recipe, made with besan and dahi along with various spices and pakodas dipped in it.

Steps to make Besan ki kadhi:
  1. For pakora - Take besan in bowl add all ingredients.add water to make a batter of thick consistency. Mix well to remove all lumps in the besan.heat oil in deep kadahi and make pakodi.
  2. First put about 1 cup of curd in a bowl and beat it properly on add besan, turmeric powder, hing with 3 cupS water. Mix properly taking care to remove all lumps and cook on medium flame continuously stir after one boil add salt.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhi add methi, Jeera fry a few secs, add chilli powder, hing add kadhi and pakodi. Cook on medium heat for 5 mins.
  4. Take a tadka pan add oil and Jeera, mirchi and pour this into the kadhi
  5. Enjoy with rice.
