  1. Heat oil in a pan add cloves, cardamom, Javitri, cinnamon, ginger, garlic and saute for a minute. Add the onions and saute.
  2. Add cashews and melon seeds i.e (optional)
  3. Now add tomatoes and saute till tomatoes gets mushy. Switch off the heat and wait until it cools and grind it into fine waste.
  4. Heat ghee in a pan; add jeera, onions, capsicum and saute for 2 to 3 mins.
  5. Now add all the dry masalas turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, jeera powder.
  6. Now add the paste and saute till oil seperates.
  7. Add paneer, salt, garam masala and kasuri methi, stir it well.
  8. Pour in ½ cup water and let it simmer on low heat.
  9. For smoking- heat the coal on the stove, Place a small metal cup or bowl in the pan; add a few drops of ghee on the coal, a pinch of red chilli powder (optional)
  10. Close the lid. Let it rest for 5 mins. Open the lid and remove the cup. Stir the curry and serve with naan, roti or paratha.
