- Take a heavy bottom pan with tight fitting lid.. Add a layer of cooked rice and then korma..
- Again add a layer of rice then korma… go on like this till you are done.. (Top and bottom layer should be of rice)..
- Cover the lid and, keep the heat to the lowest… Cook the biryaani in this 'Dum' process for 20-30 mins.. (You can place a tawa on the flame then keep the pan on that tawa).. After 30 mins put off the flame..
- Now dissolve half teaspoon orange colour in a teaspoon water
- Now heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions to it..
- Fry your onions till golden brown..
- When the onions become golden brown.. Add the colour to the biryaani..
- Then pour the 'baghaar' over the coloured rice..
- Now your biryani is ready to serve..
- Serve your biryani with salad, raita or achaar..
