- Then start make the mix into tiny balls and coated with powder sugar. Yummy delicious gooseberry balls is ready. It’s a mixed of six taste.
Add soup and seasonings; mix well. Fresh gooseberries, fruit pectin and sugar are cooked briefly then processed in a canner for scrumptious homemade jam. You should apply the fertilizer at least one month before you plan on planting your gooseberry bushes. When you are ready to put the gooseberry bushes into the ground, dig a large hole that can accommodate the root ball on the bush. Make sure you prune off any dead roots that might be found before placing the gooseberry plants into the ground.
