  3. Place once more over strong heat until the sugar melts, the pears dissolve and the jam sets, while stirring from time to time so that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot!
  4. Store in the jars while hot, close the lid and turn upside down! Allow to cool and then store the jars in the fridge.

Store the jam in a sealed container, leaving a little room for expansion when freezing. Defrost the frozen jam in the refrigerator. In a stockpot, combine pears, sugar, water and lemon juice; bring to a boil. The pear preserves is that insanely good! The aromatic preserve is a little delicacy which you have earned yourself.
