- Wash and season chopped goat meat,with Knorr, pinch of salt, ginger and garlic, onion powder for and marinade for an hour.
- Grate pepper and onions and boil till water is dry in another pot.
- When goat meat is cooked, add pepper, and the other cube of Knorr, with little ginger/garlic and stir, reduce heat and cook for 7minutes,add 2drops of soy sauce cover and let it simmer for 3minutes.
- Check and stir after 3minutes,done.
Peppered Goat Meat, commonly known as Asun in Nigeria, is a finger-licking, lip-smacking combination of roasted goat meat sautéed in spicy habanero and red bell peppers, that is so delicious, you'll almost be tempted to eat it all in one sitting! When Asun is made at parties, usually a whole goat is brought to be the venue and smoked. This is what I remember about Asun. The goat is smoked raw over a giant charcoal lit barbecue, then it is cut into smaller sizes, placed on a heated slab and sautéed, (yes I used that word), with lots of onions and fresh pepper while oil is sprinkled on. Asun is very spicy smoked goat meat or peppered goat meat that is traditionally prepared over open fire (grill) then sautéed in hot pepper and spices.
