The ingredients needed to make Lemony liver:
  1. Take 1/2 kilo liver, skinned and chopped
  2. Take 1 medium sized lemon
  3. Make ready 1/2 of medium sized garlic
  4. Take 1 inch ginger, crushed
  5. Make ready 1 tbsp curry powder
  6. Take 1/2 tsp corriander powder
  7. Get 1/2 tsp jaasiri spice mix
  8. Make ready 1/4 tsp black pepper
  9. Take Salt
  10. Get Vegetable oil

This dressing lends a light, refreshing flavor to all manner of foods. The lemon zest and lemon juice brighten everything they touch. Instructions to make Lemony liver:
  1. Soak liver in lemon juice of one lemon for 15-30min
  2. Wash and drain
  3. In a non reactive bowl place liver and add all spices
  4. Add garlic, salt and pepper
  5. Mix till well combined and let sit for 15- 30min (1hr for best results)
  6. Chop onions coarsely, put in non stick skillet with vegetable oil, stir until translucent.
  7. Add crushed ginger and stir occasionally until ginger turns golden.
  8. Add the marinated liver stir continuously on high heat for five minutes, add alittle curry powder if desired. Stir for another five minutes until a thick curry begins to form.
  9. When curry is reduced turn heat down and add alittle hot water about 3/4 cup, a little at a time in five minute intervals explained below. Cover and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, stir every 5 minutes.
  10. After this the water will be reduced and the oil will have separated from the liver as seen below. Serve hot.
